  Dear Sren,

thanks for your input. The one problem we're faced with that is not
addressed with the countrate data is to obtain results (spectra,
lightcurves) for individual sources when JEM-X is in Restricted Imaging
mode.

As we realized, the current logic of:
- all REST events get the mid time of the image
- REST events are treated like other events in further processing
leads to problems with greyfilter/deadtime/... corrections as these
might vary signficantly over the duration of the image taking and
we would apply just the value at one point in time.

The whole argument is now how we best improve this. My proposal
was to use smeared out times for the REST events and continue as
before (=> any time binning possible, less changes to existing code).
Stefan would prefer to always use the time binning given by the data
in this case and calculate correction factors for the real time
intervals (=> cleaner conceptually, more changes, time binning given
by data).

  Regards,
  Peter
