Gain Notes for Revolution 401 JEM-X2: This is the second full revolution for JEM-X2 since its activation and warm-up revolution 399. JEM-X2 was activated specifically for the Earth Observations. The data now presented here (gain history, smoothing and Xe line) were obtained using the ISDC-generated gain history table produced with the CONS (consolidated) pipeline. This is the data that is archived in /isdc/arc/rev_2. It is the data that is delivered to observers. This data has a good gain history table which is smoothed well. All the science data from this revolution should be useable. Some large glitches are visible on source 1 (black/red), but these in no way affect the science data. 100 second observations: The Earth Observations for this revolution were also released cut up into 100 second science windows, to allow time resolved imaging of the occultaion. This data was processed with the correct software (see warning below), and produced fine data, gain history and gain correction. These results are also shown on the table. WARNING: The data that was originally produced by the NRT pipeline was not useable. The gain history table was generated with antiquated software and was consequently filled almost entirely with null data. Use only the data from the archive. CAO 29/05/2006 The new Xe peak analysis was added after determination of new improved calibration reference channels for JEM-X2 IMOD epochs 12 and 13 (revs 311 to 510 and 511 onward, respectively). This brings the Xe level closer to the 29.6 keV ideal value. However, there is so little data to analyse that no great importance can be attached to this analysis or to the average position of the Xe line since a whole revolution Xe evolution is not possible.
