Gain Notes for Revolution 286 A completely ordinary revolution. Gain smoothing is fine for most of the revolution, but is generally too high at the end of the revolution. All data from this revolution should be useable for imaging, but the last couple of hours of the revolution may have a poor gain correction applied to the science events. First two data points on each data set are the pre-switch on with High Voltage 3 steps below its nominal value. Xe line analysis shows that the gain correction for this revolution varies only within acceptable limits, though improvements can clearly be made in future software to produce a more consistent smoothing of the gain history data. All of this data is fine for science analysis. CAO 16/1/2007
