INTEGRAL observes the Crab

The Crab nebula and pulsar were observed by INTEGRAL in February for calibration purposes. An important goal of these observations is a proper calibration at high energies. Observations of the Crab pulsar (pulse period 33 ms) can also be used for timing calibration purposes. The picture shows the pulse profile of the Crab pulsar obtained with IBIS in various energy bands.
