SPR 732 Report -$Revision: 5423 $ Marnix Bindels 6 March 2006 The calculation of valid perigee entry and exit bins is such that accurate visibility information for revolutions n, n-1 and n+1 is necessary. If available, a bin will be valid if fully visible from end to start of slew window. With the changes to fdserver in isoc system 12.2, the problem of SPR 732 could not be reproduced. However nothing has been done to actually solve spr 732. During the investigation however, it was noted that the lingering ifdsoc binary does not detect an update of orbita and revno files. It seems that in order to have such updates to take effect, a restart of "flight dynamics" is necessary. Perhaps, this delay in showing updated information led to the unexpected impossible perigee entry and exit zones.
