Abstract

The goal of this proposal is to study the spectral properties of four Atoll and/or bursting Low Mass X-ray Binaries in the hard X-ray and Gamma-ray domains. The four sources have been selected on the basis of their position, X-ray intensity and spectral characteristics. Both persisten and bursting emissions from these objects will be investigated. Results of this study are expected to provide invaluable information for the knowledge of the physics of the accretion in these systems together with their evolution. Properties distinguishing these sources from black hole candidates will be also derived.
