Title: RADIATION MECHANISMS AND JET STRUCTURE OF BLAZARS

Abstract
We propose two $10^6$s observations of blazars PKS 0208-512 and 3C
454.3 (2251+158). The INTEGRAL will be
able to determine spectrum
shape for these objects up to several MeV. This will allow detailed
study of the
high energy component of the blazar spectrum. Such
studies will provide information on contribution of
various radiation
mechanisms into overall spectrum and will put constraints on jet
opening angle. We also
plan simultaneous observations with XMM to
determine possible lags between soft- and mid-X rays to
support
internal shock model for nonthermal flares produced in the jet.
