Title: Challenging the existence of MeV-blazars by observing its prototype: PKS 0208-512

Abstract
We propose a 1800 ksec observation towards PKS 0208-512 with IBIS-ISGRI and SPI in order to examine the
prototype of the COMPTEL-detected class of MeV-blazars. In conjunction with utilizing the continuum
sensitivity of the main instruments aboard INTEGRAL, JEM-X observations should be performed to
simultaneously monitor the activity state of the inverse Compton emission component of this gamma-ray load
blazar. This proposal will be accompanied with ground-based observations at optical and radio wavelengths to
extend the simultaneous coverage into the synchrotron emission component of PKS 0208-512.
