INTEGRAL observed from earth!

This animation shows the INTEGRAL satellite imaged by Mr. Loren Ball, at his observatory based in Decatur, Alabama on June 21 2003 around 23:00 CDT. The satellite was imaged with a 16" Schmidt Cassegrain telescope using an exposure of about 1 minute. The faintest stars in the images are around magnitude 19, while INTEGRAL is estimated to be about magnitude 17.5. The images are 14'x14' in size and the coordinates of the center are RA: 17h05m25s & Dec: +21d40'25". The distance to INTEGRAL was about 97000 km at the time those images were taken.
